The Mission of the Consulate is: “To Promote and Protect Uganda’s National Interests in Sierra Leone and the other Countries of Accreditation”. The strategic plan will serve to focus the Embassy on its vision and mission.
About us
Functions of the Consulate
- Trade and export promotion aimed at expanding the market for Ugandan products in Sierra Leone
- Promotion of Tourism aimed at increasing the number of tourists from the Siera Leone and the other West African countries of accreditation.
- Attracting Foreign Direct Investment from Sierra Leone and the other countries of accreditation.
- Mobilizing the diaspora community to participate in the development of Uganda through increased remittances and investments, leveraged through platforms with tangible impact.
- Knowledge and technology transfer through capacity building opportunities, scholarships and exchange programs.
- Peace and Security cooperation and partnership with the Sierra Leone Government.
- Promotion of cooperation with Sierra Leone on matters of Governance, Democracy and Human Rights.
